The last genuinely good prop who could play long minutes I can remember was Lee Mossop in his first spell or Andy Coley

We got Flower from Crusaders. Let’s not pretend every prop signed by our rivals has been good. For every good un, there’s a load of bad uns!

Flower has been decent over the years, the last top quality prop we have had is probably Taylor.

Yes but over the last 10 years we have been very successful yet our props have been seemingly one of our weakest positions. Even when we signed Fielden who was arguably the best prop in the world at the time he turned out average at best.

Sezer is nowhere near as good as Maloney (that's why he is currently in second grade), and probably not as good as Hastings, although he's not the same kind of half at all.

I worry. I honestly think we need 5-6 if not 7 new players for next season, which I don't think is possible.

We need another 2 props. Even with Clark coming in. Another 1 is a must.
We have Flower who's pretty average to decent. And Bullock who will improve. And that's it.
We need 2 new halves if Williams is going. No one left at the club is good enough to be a half back at Wigan.
A new 13. A ball playing 13.if Lockers stays he can be spelled as a front row with a new link man as our 13. Our attack lacks when we play a prop at 13 with no ball skills.
We need another centre.
And a 9 with a scoot who can get us playing off the front foot. Something we've not had since Newton.

Yeah, I love the bloke and what he’s done for the club but he must be taking up a good chunk of cap space and we are not getting enough back from the investment now.

It's getting to the point where I'm no longer sad to say it. Lockers is so past it that he's actually becoming a liability. We MUST replace him soon.

Lockers is starting to decline and isn’t the same word class player that we’ve seen over his career. Having said that I do still think he can be an asset next year if we use him right and at a reduced contract. He was awesome at Warrington last week but couldn’t back it up against Catalan. Maybe a reduced contract and use him as a bit part player when we need him/when he’s fully fit & keep that leader figure at a time of change for the club?
