If we sign wardle and run with him and Halsall as main centres with thornley back up id be happy with that. Halsall hasn’t put a foot wrong so far. If French goes it does leave a winger position that needs to be filled. Do we try and sign another lad from Aus in the hopes lightning strikes a third time? I’m quite happy with the squad other than the centre issue atm. We just need to do some general tightening up, that lies with looking at the 2nd options for positions as I think Isa, shorrocks and partington we could do with upgrading. Obviously loosing French KPP and Bibby will be big but I’m confident the higher ups are willing to sign the players needed.

Wardle, Halsall, Thornley and KPP is fine. I said a couple of weeks ago that we probably needed 2 centres if Peet didn’t fancy Halsall but he’s now played two games and as ever, looks very comfortable in the first team.

Another French type player who could play wing or fullback would be good and we have the quota spot for it (if we got Wardle that is). There still seem to be rumours around about Luke Thompson but I’m not sure I can see that coming off.

Would be good to sign him however the money could be better spent elsewhere. Us signing cooper on the years deal seems like we maybe looking at Thompson to take his place.

We nearly signed Lachlan Walmsley in the past, I wonder if we’d go back in for him. He would fit in to our style very well, illusive player with pace to burn.

Well personally I haven't been so excited to watch a player at the DW since Sam Tomkins. I can only wish him well, but will be gutted to see him go. We can get another decent winger, but special players like that don't come along too often.
