"Wigan weren't going to offer me a contract I might have wanted so I decided to move on. Hull came in for me and I decided to come here but I had happy times there.

from SL top try scorer to average looking winger in the space of a few months. one of the previous posts was spot on when they said noble never fancied him. seems like noble doesn't like to get the ball out to his wingers and that's what calders needed and wanted. give even a half decent winger time and space and he'll get you tries.... look at gardner.

He wont be, but he will work his socks off to prove a point to Wigan, all this talk about Wigan offering him a contract to stay was complete tosh. Noble didnt rate him as a player, so we got shut.

When I spoke to him a while back, I asked why he didnt play the night before? He answered "I dont know"

So i asked are you leaving at the end of the season? He said it looks like it, I dont have much of a relationship with the coaches. Or something along those lines.

Roberts is a better player and it won't be a stretch for him to achieve more than Calderwood did.
