I just don't get how we are so poor some weeks. Massive highs to massive lows, with no rhyme or reason as to why.

Wakefield were great.

Went after Field, French and KPP.

We looked like a team very low on motivation however Trinity executed the game plan very well.

Halsall isn’t currently SL standard we need another centre on top of Wardle.

We were saying on the way to Wakefield that this had the potential to be another banana skin similar to the Leeds match.

It was a performance that seemed to say that we just didn’t really want it and that’s no disrespect to Wakefield who were on it from kick off.

I really hope that today and the Leeds match teach us something ahead of the play offs.

Can i just say guys as a wakey fan today i feel we beat best team i the league with the best 2 players in sure when it matters in playoffs you will be fine,think we wanted it a bit more today and as where fighting for our lives that may be expected,i still dont think where safe so good luck for friday and rest of season

Not sure that is the answer though, if we sign Wardle we have two centres in him and Thornley (assuming he can play more than a couple of games in a row), Halsall would then be a backup along with KPP for next season.

Not sure how someone like Halsall can get to be a SL level player if he doesn't play - we need to give players like him a chance over a good run of games. If we always followed that process then most young players would end up being discarded (such as Harry Smith who many last season wanted shut of as he wasn't good enough).
