And that's the issue. They seemingly don't use WADA like most other sports.

I don't buy into the whole "off season" thing, like I say a banned drug is a banned drug.

they do, look at Jennings and Xerri, both failed tests in season and coped bans

EDIT - Just read the WADA website and cocaine is only banned in competition.

If the club are looking for a Stand Off, it is not looking good about the signing of Jai Field who last season was not only given the number six shirt but hardly played because of injuries and was expected to play in that position this season.

With the above and the club being unable to sign Jacob Miller, it might explain the recent decision of Tommy Leulaui to carry on playing for another season.

Where we unable to, or did we decide not to? Big difference IMO and FWIW I’m glad we aren’t signing him. You raise a good point about Field and it’s one a lot of us are thinking as well. It makes me wonder whether we’re wasting a quota spot on him, he isn’t going to play FB, looking like he won’t play HB and doesn’t isn’t a winger

Interchange hooker like Dwyer. It’ll be the only way we can get around Powell’s lack of anything regarding speed.

I thought we'd left the 'make it up as you along' tactics behind? Field just hasn't had a shot thus far, has he? I wasn't the biggest fan of his signing, but it's crazy to write him off.
