These are the same kinds of people who turn nasty if you disagree with them while chatting in the pub. They're horrendous and I don't know how they get through life. Thankfully they're a minority but all clubs have them (though I think they tend to come out of the woodwork more when a club is doing well).
100% all clubs have them. I can remember Salford being terrible when we had them in the SF of the CC at Warrington. Cas being bad at Magic weekend the year Hardacre came to Wigan and we had idiots when we traveled to Camp Nou. Idiots who can’t handle their ale imitating football hooligan, never understood it. I don’t mind the banter and I think rugby has the right amount of it but over past few years this crap has crept in

Interesting take . . . . young Davies and Simm will be pleased to hear they are first choice scrum half and wing respectively
Wigan have lots of momentum currently and we are struggling to build any momentum with injuries in key playmaking positions and suspensions.
That said in the last few weeks weve navigated that to push Catalans away with a fair few out (should have won it at the death and Catalans frustrations should really have been rewarded with two red cards as the following bans confirmed), then beat Wigan, then nilled Hudds with 12 men.
We're struggling to be at our best but with Walmsley/Grace now back, Percy/Tommy to come, Lomax looking far more comfortable with his arm injury and hopefully suspensions calming down a little I'm still confident.
I know this will sound arrogant but pre-season I thought injuries in the spine would be the thing that could stop us getting the 4 in a row. With Dodd gone and Hopoate seemingly gone, I think this is where we are vulnerable.
It looks like Roby might now be scrum half for the business end to allow Welsby to play FB, which weakens another area. An injury to either Welsby or Lomax would be game over IMO.
Awkward moment I started reading this thinking what is FTV smoking only to realise I was reading a post that is 2 years old.
I know there's a difference with this woman actually throwing bottles but I'm sick of having beer chucked over me especially at away games, just ban taking drinks into the stadium bowl.
I think we should go well further than this. Let's ban singing, no wait let's go full snooker and ban anything that registers over a gentle whisper.
Anyway back OT...
I can actually sympathise somewhat with the Saints fans on this one. For me it comes down to having a bit of respect. Everyone hates us, Saints or Leeds, but in reality, it's those three sides who prop up every other club in SL.
Hull KR and plenty of the historically "smaller" sides, seem to go OTT when they beat the bigger sides. They spend longer, giving it to the away teams fans, than they do actually congratulating their own team.
They then yap on about it for far too long too. How many Wakey fans went to town last year because they beat us on an off day? We won the LLS and GF, they got relegated - yet they still talk about beating us, like it actually mattered. Hull KR did the same this time last year, what happened in the SL semi final? Didn't the Cas players once all gather around in front of the away end after winning a league game at the DW?
I've seen plenty of other celebrations from sides like they've just won a final, when in reality, they've one one game. Grinds my gears.

The highlight of a season for fans of teams like hull kr, Salford, Warrington etc is beating a big club. So of course their fans are going to celebrate. Fans of the opposing team should be able to be gracious

Of course fans of smaller clubs are going to celebrate and enjoy the moment.
Carrying on the way some of the Saints fans were is totally unacceptable and inexcusable.
It’s not isolated to Saints though, it is just another example of thankfully a small minority of fans that exist within most clubs who bring embarrassment on their clubs and the game.

Truly spoken like someone who enjoys baiting the opposition.
"What? You're angry with me? All I've done is come onto your site repeatedly and do nothing but cause trouble. You're the one at fault for responding."

Fans of the opposing team that were not gracious were your fellow fans. I think we will see more of this when saints lose more games, bad losers even worse winners (some).

They are getting as bad as Wire fans
