Fev game moved to Ebbsfleet : Wed Jun 29, 2022 10:29 am
Fev have tweeted this match is also off to Kent. Looks like Dons pitch repairs have over-run.

Not sure about that. They were tweeting a couple of weeks ago about how well it was progressing. Perhaps they don't want Broncos using the pitch before AFC's first pre season run out on it.

Doubt we were ever booted out of Brentford or Charlton for this period of time. Shame we can't afford to take the on the road games back to Perpignan or Carcassonne.

Pitch was re seeded, rather than re turfed was always going to be a pretty tall order to get enough growth in the dates stated. Not surprised tbh disappointing. Not sure what effect it will have on travelling fev support, reckon it will put a few off

Not really, a professional sports club should be able to reseed & have a pitch ready in 6 weeks. That of course assumes they use the correct seed blend. Sheffield would be 7 weeks after we last played & Fev 8 weeks.

Given that AFC's first league game of the season at home is 30th July, I suspect this is more about that than the pitch not being ready. Glad we will be playing in black for those 2 games, we should now "Bin the Blue".

Brave new dawn
Insanity to move, insanity to claim it was to grow fan numbers and insanity to agree to being kicked out for 8 weeks of summer.
Seasons average gates will be no better than at trailfinders and this is a season where nearly every other RL side has seen a growth in fan numbers........abject failure from Hughes and his CEO.

They’ve not said it will be moved and I suspect that will remain the case and that it will be played in Wimbledon. If not Broncos should be looking for a serious refund

Anyone traveling to Plough Lane for the Fev game will find it rather quiet.
The game is a Ebbsfleet. It is all over twitter.

I think he’s asking about the Halifax game Victor but Management may find your line to take on attendance useful. Suggested press release.
Attendance affected by venue mix up. Broncos management estimates of a 3000 gate were foiled by a basic admin error. Owner was quoted as saying “the stats don’t tell the whole truth I’m very confident we are on target for 5000 crowds very soon. We just have to remember not to so fxxk witted when it comes to interacting with our fans (who I blame for all this).
