Like most of you I suspect, I got the email this morning regarding membership for next season. What do people think ?

I expect we will see a lot of ticket offers, I suspect £22 is going to put a lot of people off watching a sport they basically know nothing about, and the club mst do that. (Two adults and two kids = over 60 quid pay on the day, home area.) Hopefully they will be targeted and measurable offers, not just fliers dumped in a local shop as at Ealing.

Season tickets are good value but pay on the day is too high. Due to health issues it would be pointless me buying a pass, my last one saw me donate the money to the club without making a single game. Even as a 20 year plus ex season ticket holder I'm going to struggle to motivate myself to get to Wimbledon - time and money - and then pay £22 for obvious mis-matches

Don't youngsters have to stay in education / usually poorly paid training until 17 now? Our adult season tickets seem to kick in on the 16th birthday? Likewise pensioner rates kick in at 60 when most people are still working.

Surprised to see two stands open. Wonder how long that will last or whether it will become the bigger travelling supports only? Good news if they can afford it though.

Delighted to see a community / family area. The success of that is huge in determining the future of the club.

Disappointed the club didn't confirm the apparent fixture clashes for the first clashes for the first two Broncos games are not an issue. Hopefully it's been done already and I missed it

I don’t know- I didn’t really get much use out of the membership I bought last season, for a variety of reasons I only ended up getting to 5 or 6 games.
But looking at the squad for 2022 I’m struggling to be motivated to even make that much of a commitment.
Will probably get to one or two of the first games ( curiosity factor of visiting a new stadium) but will see how the land lies after that. I would also expect the club to come up with a few ticket offers.
Very much depends on the on field performances, if the team are making the effort then I’ll be there to back them - but I’ve little appetite for regular spankings to be honest. Don’t really want to be witnessing a championship version of that SL season at Barnet where we only won one game all year.

I am hoping some Academy and Women's games will continue to be played at Richmond and will focus on them. The first team squad looks like the worst we have ever assembled.

£260 for a West Stand ST for me and my young daughter is really good VFM - £20 for both of us per game.

£22 for a West Stand seat isn't that bad. It's £32 for a ticket in the premium central blocks (blocks 105, 106 and 107) at AFC Wimbledon.

Concession prices for matchday tickets seem high though, particularly for younger children (though I suppose the idea is to incentivise the £20 memberships).

Football can get away with higher prices. Most of us have watched or know someone who watched football. There are thousands of advocates for watching live football in and around London. London rugby league has very few advocates and most people have no idea what they would be paying £22 to watch.

Theoretically I agree £22 for tier two sport isn't horrendous. Unfortunately Broncos are in a position where they simply must attract new support. They seem to be pricing to retain current support rather than to attract new support, which is why I expect ticket offers. That way anyone in the know gets in cheaper and away fans have to stump up £22.

Wouldn't be the first club to do it. Won't be the last.

Notwithstanding Saturday’s “announcement” which I considered a kick in the teeth I’ve bought STs for myself and my son. It’s my gift to the club. Whether I get around to going to South London on a regular basis will depend on what is served up. Widnes is a good test. If they spank us this season is a right off. The ball is now in Broncos court it’s time to see what their outputs are like before I offer any more of my money.
For what it’s worth I think the ST are objectively good value, especially child ones and hope those that have missed the deal in the past get on them. The area I would consider more thought might be required is the concessions one. No way around it lots of supporters are older. I’d work hard if I was the club to make sure I did all I could to encourage as many as possible to attend. £20 odd per game all up seems OK to me but clearly there are issues for those on a budget.

I'll be getting STs and will enjoy trying the literally dozens of places to eat & drink in and around the stadium, e.g on Garratt Lane.

I recommend Pizza Verace (near the Leather Bottle pub), which is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality on offer.
