Furlough is finished in 6 weeks. Clubs will be paying players contracted from then

The game is on its booty, the RFL CEO is on the BBC 6 O'Clock news stating he is worried that several clubs wont see this winter through, there is widespread acknowledgement that the season may not start next feb as planned now and the world cup is almost certainly going to be postponed, or worse, and yet people want to know why we haven't signed any players?

In fairness, I dont think anyone has mentioned any signings since the news of the Oct fans trials being stopped, not even me.

Suppose it depends whether you think Leigh are currently trading but didn't they sign Adam Walker in August?

No idea if the contract says "we will pay you from whenever we have some idea of if, or when the season might start". So some clubs NB would appear to.

Probably not my best. Combination of to much San Miguel over the last few months in the sun abroad plus this bloody iPad.
