Going to be a long night!!

Why did the ref not blow for crossing on the first try but let play carry on just because he surrendered himself. Is that a new ruling?

Always has been like that
The offence is obstruction not crossing. If an attacker realises he has gone behind a player causing obstruction if he surrenders to the tackle it's no penalty

How bloody frustrating are this team? First half looked like a mid table championship team.
Second half they play like a team that should be challenging for a decent spot in SL.
How can theh be so different in two halves of the same game.

I guess injuries, new combinations don't help

Abdull on bench at start maybe Ward's first big error as coach?

It hasn't always been like that. Thats a relatively recent change to prevent an advantage and to prevent a penalty. Accidental obstruction.
Mac out!

It seems the season has gone. Injuries, lack of depth, tiredness may have finally caught up with us. Saints next :)

What a poor start, it was embarrassing at times, some credit that we did come back in the second half a little, but that rarely wins games! just worry that is it, we needed to bring in some extra bodies around 3 weeks back, but the kitty seems empty!
