Steve Scanlan played for my amateur club in the Rugby League Conference days. I say play, thats not too accurate. Maybe the years have matured him but back then I wouldnt trust him to run a bath.
Obviously the article majors on Skolars but when it touches on Broncos it makes sorry reading.
Any thoughts or knowledge of the two ex Broncos venues Skolars are looking at? I wondered if they were Ealing and The Hive?

Feels like a mistake taking them away from North London IMO. To be seen obviously, but they seem pretty well set up at New River, a rare London sports venue not solely dominated by Union or Football.

I tend to agree. It’s a pretty grubby ground and not amazingly near transport links. I think Wood Green is a brisk walk away but my view is it’s more than big enough at the moment. I’d suggest getting the team in place and then moving and making a bigger splash. Learn from Broncos mistake.

Yeah definitely. Been a good few years since I last went to watch them, but going to try and get to Friday Night Lights and a few other games before the season ends.
