No it's a fair point, I looked at Maloney and Drinkwater and so assumed it was strong. Looking at the tries they seemed to fall off in defence.

All 3 of their tries came from high kicks into the corners! Yet again we seemed unable to deal with high balls out wide, a problem which has been with us for years and never seems to get any better. We've had world class centres and wingers all through these years and they look to have lead boots on when a high ball comes over. I can't be the only one to notice but it's one area that never seems to be addressed even after several coach changes. Luckily for us there have been worse teams around the bottom end of the table but to push for a top spot it's definitely an area which needs looking at.

Im not sure I think this has been a problem for years - this is one area of his game that Jerry worked very hard on from his early days where it was initially a weaker area of his game and he sorted it. And Leroy with his "shovels" and ability to gain height in the air didn't seem to have a problem with dealing with kicks. But yes I agree a lot of opposition tries do appear to have come from kicks this year.
