I don’t understand what you mean. He has a high tackle success rate. Why would teams see that as a weakness in defence?

Chester Butler at Halifax is of course a ready made replacement for him.

Butler and Mellor together would see the Giants through the next 5 years.

I've seen quite a few fax games over the last couple of years. He's a talent.

Probably him and Grady are the only Fax players who would get in a Superleague side.

I've heard we see Butler as a replacement for Mellor, if he decides to go. However, id certainly take him as well. Id rather us take punts on young home grown players than over the hill Aussies.

Fergie, Murphy, Taai & Bruno etc may only have another 2 years left, potentially.

Fair play, I rate Mellor but if another club values him higher than our own than who can blame him for moving. I wish him well. Think he will push internationally in a few years
