Olly Russell is 18 an Danny Richardson is 21. 3 years at that age is quite a difference if you ask me - especially as Richardson has had a few SL pre seasons behind him in a full time environment.

Olly Russell hasn't had a SL pre season, hes had an academy one. A couple of SL pre seasons and he will be good to go week in week out.

Woolford has said Russell needs a couple of SL preseasons, Woolford says he isn’t physically ready (made a comment about him looking like a 15 year old without his shirt on )

Yes of course we need to replace brough- my point is replacing one player for another player doesn’t strengthen us, it keeps us where we are- we need hastings AND another halfback. That could be Russell later but NOT next year.

Hastings AND. Brough is what we need next year. Not one or the other.

I think we’d be relying too much on Brough if he’s still a first choice half back next year.

I can think of a few forwards who we could replace that would strengthen us, Brough has been a great player for us and the best buy we have had since Hogson IMO, I don't care who your halves are if the Forwards can't hack it the Half's will not shine, That said brough is the forwards best mate because his greatest remaining strength is his kicking game .
It's OK quoting what the last three coaches have said and done as thought it is the Gospel and backs your argument, but didn't you spend much of last year knocking R Stone, and how many times have you claimed Brough has lost us games, now all of a sudden we can't do without him despite us winning games.
We all have our opinions jools, you just don't seem to have much time for most people's unless they are the same as yours, Telling people to imagine what would happen if this or that happened is no argument , we don't live in Charlie's chocolate factory

woolford comfirmed we are talking to him but a long way to go on the deal being done yet, interesting hes known him since he was 14, woolfords son used to play against him!

what i liked hear him say also was hes a great kicker but can manage a game..... this is something brough fails to do manage a game

confident uate will play for the giants next season, close to announcing that one
