I have been staying away and totally lost interest since the Watson debacle, but i will give Luke full backing now. I hope that he signs players in his own mould, fast, attacking, with an eye for a gap instead of the plodders that Watson insisted on. Homegrown coaches have been mixed, but Matty Peets and Paul Rowley gave shown that there are good talents in the British game, let's hope we have one of them.
One note of caution, i'm already not keen on continuing to sign old players, Tom Burgess is a terrible piece of business and im not thrilled with Ricky Leutele coming back either at 35. He was great for us and i would have loved to keep him two years ago, but he hasn't actually been a star performer at Leigh and is now two years older and i bet we have paid a lot for him as he has seemed incredibly money motivated his whole career (moving to lower clubs for better pay). I hope this is now arrested and we start to bring in some young talent.
