No aggression in the forwards today, most of the team were just going through the motions. I wish they'd tell us when they aren't going to give 100% then I could save my time and money.

we got pumped. Defo for next week should be LOD and Raleigh and Maybe Horne. We lost the ruck, didn't off load, half backs didn't take the line on, overlapped on our right every time and woeful defence. Mason and Leroy our best today.

Gilmour had a fair tilt too when he was on. Our defence was awful. Why don't we track back when the line gets broken and pick up their attackers to cut down options? We always used to do that well. Completely lacking in desire tonight I thought.

I thought the Hudds line speed in defence was poor compared with Wigans. They were in your face striaght away whereas Hudds were taking a step forward and waiting for the Wigans ball carrier to run at your line. The comentators mentioned it aswell and it was right. You were struggling to make 30m per set whereas Wigan were making 50m plus almost everytime. It was surprising aswell because a coach like Nathan Brown gets his team working hard on defence and line speed but then again Nathan Brown wasn't the one out there on the field.
You need Brough back badly, Brown and Robbo were shocking and clueless in attack and some of the kicks were just terrible. Brown was bulleting 1 yard passes to a player running on to the ball and how on earth is anyone meant to catch it at that speed. Robbo is better at hooker and i think Grix should of been replaced with a quality FB from the NRL, you cant get rid of Brett Hodgson and play Grix at FB and expect to be a better side, Grix had a poor game and i know he's also had some good games this year but to be challenging at the end of the year you need a better FB than him. He's not a bad utility to have but he's not even in the best 8 FB's in the league.
Things could be worse, you could be in the state Leeds are in. :)

i agree with most of this but i dont agree about grix not being good enough. he has been ace this year to say its his first season at full back for us.

yes didnt have the best of games today but tbf niether did 1 of our players maybe kirmond but thats it but yh his been brilliant for us this season and was up at the top at one point on the point scoring system for full backs not so long back.

i mean maybe in name he isnt the best coz there are alot of big name full backs but his been better than likes off webb and mathers etc losing brett was always gonna be hard to replace as he is a top top player but scott grix has done very well

Wigan were the better team, and were on top form, we lost it in the ruck area they slowed us down too easily which allowed them to get everyone in line for the next tackle.

We failed to slow them down enough and our right side was very poor in defence.

Brough getting back is key as it allows Robbo to play hooker where he's far more effective, and Brough moves the game around better for us.

LOD will make a big difference too as his line speed and tackles will help us control the ruck area much better.

ATEOTD they deserved the 2 points but nothing is won in June, we need to knuckle down and build momentum up.

BTW Can we hire a bus company who gets us to the games on time!

What he said! The rhinos fella just lost all credibility spouting rubbish about grix.

A good post - untilyou started slagging off Grix. He made one mistake last night.

Player of the season so far IMHO.
