He's been outstanding and consistent for years and should have got noticed 2-3 years ago, he hasn't magically improved at the Giants

However much as I hate to say it playing for you and in a better team has put him more in the shop window and I'd be gutted for him if he was robbed of the chance again.

i agree when he was at hull fc he was brilliant i cant believe no one in super league signed him then as he droped to the championship before going to wakefield.

but i think if he comes back and carries on playing well his a certain for the 4 nations his kicking game alone is something that england miss and missed it against the exiles last friday

At Wakefield he would show his brilliance, but didn't have the consistency - this is the area which NB has specifically improved and it shows.

Being surrounded by better players makes a good player look great. Just look at Martin Gleeson when he left us for Saints. Went from relegation fodder to GB international in half a season.

To be fair though Codey, Gleeson was a class act even in that season as a teenager but i do agree that good players become brilliant players just by having better players around them !

NB has improved Brough, there is no doubt about that whatsoever. He's improved his awareness and his attitude for starters.

piece in examiner today with brough talking about the injury...

had the cast off not just waiting for the swelling and bruising to go down...but his foot is purple! so will take a good few weeks
