The banter rumour was Mellor to Saints, then oddly Kyle Amor coming over too.

We're at that stage where people like to put out stuff to see if it gets traction, while other tap the side of their noses pretending they have some insider knowledge but then don't actually say anything.

This isn't to malign or disparage anyone in this thread btw, just years of observations.

Why would we swap Mellor for Amor? Sounds like this information might have come from that clown clickbait site aka SARL.

I dunno. Amor to you wasn't mentioned, I was told he was being released by Saints to take up an offer from a Cumbrian team, which given he's not playing at Saints and is more than good enough to play still, would make sense. Then Mellor to Saints also makes sense as we've lost Dodd for the season and are nursing Lomax with a major injury as well, so it does fit, particularly if you've got an overseas signing to make.

Whether there is any truth to it of course is another matter, but I wouldn't rule it out.

I can't see why we'd let Joe live, even if we do have another signing incoming. He's our general and doing a good job of leading the team around the park.

The rumour was you've signed an expensive NRL halfback. First half of the rumour was clearly true, have to wait and see if the second bit is too.

Rumours on our board suggest that you want James Bell in exchange for Mellor now. Not sure if it's our fans getting desperate for a halfback or if there is actually something in it. Was he injured today or just rested?
