The issue is Bully the secrecy around it all. Yes P&R is still on in the RFL model. As for SL all the chairman seem to be on non-disclosure. Mr Beaumont himself going into hiding. We’ve lost two players to Wigan out of an already depleted squad, and not one statement from the hierarchy.

Winge over

Michael Carter of Wakefield covered this on a Q&A a couple of weeks ago. No talks have even been considered about scrapping relegation, it will be happening this year.

VL , I’m in full agreement with you , but something needs to be done as soon as possible before it’s to late , JD needs to realise his job is on the line , and take action NOW no room for sentiment , he has to change things , Reynolds isn’t working at 6 , his days are numbered , look at other SL sixes , no comparison , we need a bit of luck with injuries , get some troops back, and try to put 80 minutes in not 40 .

The players are fighting for their lives as well , for me some are not SL standard , if McCarthey ,Helliwell, Sau ,and Wildie left the Club , they wouldn’t be in SL ,Cmon JD be ruthless , we need wins and fast , some fans took for granted wins against Wakey , Hull KR , Salford , and Hudds would happen , well they won’t , time is ticking by let’s act before it’s to late .

YES,I agree. The experienced S.L coach goes by the name of Shaun Wayne.Get rid of all the coaching staff and hangers on who he does not want, let him have his own people.Do it before its too late.

Did he comment on a restructure?

SL will be 12 teams next season and highly likely 12 the following. Any potential restructure would be planned in advance for season 2024 and linked into a broadcast deal starting that year.

Do you mean Shaun Wane the current England coach who’s preparing for a World Cup in a few months time.

I’ve a funny feeling that he may not be available, although I do also have a feeling that we have asked him to act in an advisory role and he couldn’t commit to that either

Is this the same meeting that only a handful of SL chairman were privy too? Or just your own opinion?

Normally when we have injuries DB normally moves fast to loan or bring in extra players. Is this harder this year.... getting loans from other SL teams. Did that initially with Reynolds and Gelling and few loanees but that seems to have dried up. Seems like they only should have taken the gig if they had known they would be protected against relegation otherwise just the whipping boys and a wasted season.

Exactly, looks like (although I might be wrong) we're not even trying to bring any short term loan signings in.

It’s what was agreed on in the last SL meeting, no changes to the structure at this time.

Whilst i’ve no doubt some might want to change again the money just isn’t there for for 14 teams (my favoured option) or to fund two leagues of 10. With the new deal there isn’t really enough for 12 as it is.
