Big problems at Leigh Charlie. Not sure why they are not ploughing money in to keep him. It’s as though nobody is bothered what happens.

We are definitely not still in this, you can clearly see the players are now not playing for Duffy.

I’ve also heard there’s a rift in camp hence why some players aren’t playing.

Very very poor Leigh team at Hull KR take out Ioni, Hood and Brierley and send the rest to the East and Miners that is about their level.

Leyther we all know the difficulty JD is having at the moment , both with injuries and with results , but as the season progresses the pressure will become more and more ,fans don’t want to see a losing team and they won’t pay 30 quid either .

It happened with Abram ,and happened with Jukes ,I don’t know how long Derek will keep his patience ,rumour has it there is no relegation this year , I hope it is right , because it’s the only way we will be saved ,without counting the players money , JD has a back room staff of at least 10 on wages it can’t carry on .Apparently Gildart has signed for West Tigers and they want Ian Thorniley , I don’t know where the players are coming from .

I am hearing the same regards no relegation & 2 up !
I agree with your points about D.B & his patience with Duffy & also the back room staff.

Why do Leigh always have jobs for the boys ?
Cunningham & Son
Duffy Brothers
It's like some dodgy local traders !

& what is Carvell doing ?

My concerns (other than the immediately obvious) are that *if* there is to be no relegation & Derek knows it, will he still stick with Duffy, even though J.D is way out of his depth ? Also, if D.B knows there is no relegation, can he somehow convey this to potential signings for next season (without breaking confidence) ? Will available player's come to Leigh not knowing if Leigh will be in Super League ? It causes so many problems.

Mr Beaumont’s lack of communication is costing the club more than he understands. Even if does know what’s happening next season, this seasons showing is leaving Leigh with 1600 fans. Good luck to him getting the other 4K back should they remain in SL.

WE ARE STILL IN THIS.

If that is referring to the brown smelly stuff, then I agree right up to our necks in it!

But have we started recruiting for next season?
Why the secrecy? Fans of professional sport need positive news items to hang onto.
I read on another board that there is a need for player recruitment has to be conducted in secrecy. Wot just like it is in football? Or is it to fuel the feeling of self-importance of those in the ‘need to know’
Once the inevitable happens, is it expected that the current squad will extend their one year contracts? If so that will leave us in exactly the same position.
Lack of communication is making a bad situation worse.

The naivety which is and has been displayed in the way the club is being run is beyond belief.
And this after so much effort and impressive communication was put into the Super league application.
The club needs to come clean with the fans with an explanation of what is going on and what is going to be done about it.

I think it is all heading to Mr Beaumont's exit at the end of the season.
