"I know you've had a bad day, but there's no need to take it out on me"

Re: Gelling : Mon Apr 12, 2021 11:09 pm
At the end of the day, with Sau being out for most of the season and was hardly a revelation in the championship anyway, Gelling is a big improvement on young Keenan Brand.

You know very well i offer my view and opinions throughout my post ,so why can't you explain with yours?

So C'mon Satan, elaborate and tell me why this isn't a good signing? Now, you tell me what you would do at this moment in time? You consistently give negative posts without backing up your reasons. Where should we strengthen? and also tell me who isn't good enough to be in the squad?

You have done nothing to enhance this forum as you have been informed on many occasions but choose to blindly ignore.Your comment below my initial post was typical.

The reasons for not signing Gelling are well put by others and I agree with them. How long is his contract ? is he on a contract that will be torn up? normal contracts include disrepute clauses. Is he on day rate?

I stated my views on Barba, no doubt you would have made him captain.I looked at the NRL release list and many of them had similar problems as Barba/Gelling, or were crocked. We have a paid director of rugby who must have been speaking to players agents here and overseas and someone in oz both searching far better qualified than me.

For whatever reasons we have not had our first choice, by contracts given, out on the field.Wrong profile of player signed, just what was easily available.means we may never will.We can only ask for maximum effort though Duffy said he was pointing finger after Sunday and thats a big worry.

Really! I think your adjudicating the wrong person here. Who have I been informed by? And about what topic? :ASK:
FWIW - I've never mentioned Barba anywhere apart from liking a post from someone who wouldn't have him here. You've baffled me with your post here mate.

It's not easy for low lying Lancashire clubs to attract talent. I would be looking at any ex Catalan players and Tony Gigot would tick a few boxes.

Gelling's performance in this game was shocking, Widnes fans were actually glad to see back of him. Gelling will not be the answer to Leigh's problems.

Don't be arrogant, and don't tell me what to do. Who do you think you are?

I contribute with posting current information about the club, and post team news regularly. If you have a problem with that, don't read my post,or put me on ignore.

This is the 2nd post on this thread (below) that i posted in my OPINION!! If you don't agree, that's your prerogative. You are entitled to your opinion,I just don't agree with you. My first reply to you was tongue in cheek, maybe i should have inserted an emoji to illustrate this. Unfortunately your sense of humor was amiss.

Very good signing if true. Looks like Derek is doing what needs to be done. I would like a quality halfback too.:thumb:

BTW - I've stared a new thread about a new loan signing. A bit more contribution again from Cokey.

Sau back in 2 weeks - could end up with competition in the centres if were not careful

Gelling is of course a gamble, but we have little choice in all honesty- can’t condone his off field behaviour, but on the field he can be a game winner

Duffy getting the players he wants - needs to get some performances in or he’ll be under pressure
