I wonder when we'll get any news about player retentions, departures and new signings for 2020 season? There seems to be activity at other Championship clubs, (e.g. Featherstone, Halifax, Widnes, Toulouse, Batley, Dewsbury, Sheffield, have all announced movements) so not everyone appears to be waiting until contracts expire.

I’m here as well Alan, but know sod all on this side of the water I’m afraid. To be honest I get most of my info from this forum (and I’m very careful not to believe all I read of course :D )
I am however hopeful that we will add quality young player, a couple of carefully chosen experienced names and retain the likes of McNally and Riddy, with who we already know are here next year.
Patience and time will tell I guess
I watch every game on DVD (thanks Fred) but it will never beat being behind the sticks.

I don’t understand the frustration at the lack of announcements from the club at the moment. The season has just finished for us. Most of the current squad are taking well earned breaks away. The RL press are giving coverage to all of the play off games so any announcements we make will be tucked away in the corner of a newspaper page (if anyone reads them anymore) or overshadowed by the big play off news of the day. We’ll make announcements at a time when a) our players and those we are signing from other clubs are back from holidays and can give interviews. b) when they have finished their commitment with their current clubs in the playoffs and c) when the announcements can make the most media impact without being overshadowed by other RL news.
Am I Rugby Leagues Adrian Durham?

WE are all different C&W. I've always been of the belief that publicity is a good thing, and I guess the likes of Featherstone, Widnes et al, think along similar lines. Doesn't mean I'm right, of course.

C&W, I get what you are saying but I also get the desire for us to announce players that will take us forward next season.
I check this forum every day to see who we may be looking at, as I always hope we will be the top of the table come this time next year.
I have no problem with anyone doing the same.
I watch every game on DVD (thanks Fred) but it will never beat being behind the sticks.

So basically you are saying the squad is built for next season? So everyone away on holiday is being retained for 2020.

Why sit under the radar again? Why not make the most media impact now? Not be many reading in the closed season!
