I have watched it back, it was a knock on, a player was held back, and it did not seem to touch a Leigh player-all 3 decisions against us in 3 seconds!!

We could and should have scored first after half time which would have put us in the lead. Hewer saw it differently and gave possession to Halifax. Rightly called as the game breaker. Overall Halifax deserved the 2 points although I have to admit Hewer left me baffled at times.

We desperately need some size in the pack but look, it is only 10 weeks ago when I thought we will be going away to the likes of Halifax and Bradford this year and getting tonked by 70 or 80 points.

We have beat a full time side and lost narrowly at Haifax. I will take that for sure.

Bring on Featherstone Rovers, it is going to be a belter. Hopefully another crowd over 3000.

Agree with all that. Prior to ten weeks ago, we were contemplating being in League 1, or even worse! I'm happy with where we are too! Sure, Sunday was disappointing - it always has been, and always will be, when we lose. However, Halifax were better than us on the day and deserved their win - for me, it really was as simple as that. No disgrace, losing to a good team. Roll on next Sunday!

Nine times out of ten, Robinson's dropped ball would have been a knock on. The Leigh camera was in the East stand, where the 'incident' occurred and, in all honesty, it looked a knock-on to me. Anyway, as Duffy says, he doesn't think it influenced the final result. Halifax got on a roll, after that, and were out of sight, before we got a sniff in again.

Gareth Hewer clearly asked his t/j for help, and was badly advised. I thought Hewer had a poor game all round. That said, I will freely admit that the better team won, on the day.
