Col,you are right it happens in business all the time, unfortunately. Some businesses use it as an excuse to avoid paying their employees what is due to them.
My wife has recently taken her former employers to Court,because they failed to pay her what she was entitled to,she won her case 100%,of course the Employers said they couldn't afford to pay her what she was due to,she proved otherwise and won her case.

And that is her right, as it is the players in question. Whether the outcomes the same remains to be seen

I'm sure most people realise that, but as most people also probably realise there are more consequences than that, which is why alternative solutions would be better all round - hopefully common sense prevails from all sides
