Good evening, Charles, hope you are well? Thought Brierley was a Salford supporting Keh's Yedder with a thistle on his change strip. But then not many have been as pure Leythe as that in recent times.
Im well Bongser I realise Brierley isn't a born and bred Leyther, they are a dying breed, born in the Firs, but I felt he showed a great deal of enjoyment when scoring for us,and never let the kids down, when making appearences to functions and folks houses.
I always thought he was a talented lad,and would have him back in a shot, him and Riddy were good together.Charlie knows.
CL, for me I would welcome Riddy back ,with a Red Carpet,I'm not sure it will happen though, I'd give it a go to bring Higson back as well, along with Brierley, they are Leythers after all.
Brierley isn't a Leyther though, Cow Yed *Westhoughton* & a Salford fan.

Ste , I do know he isn't a born and bred, they are a dying breed.I also know his love of Salford, it's just I feel he has an infinity with Leigh, and maybe could be tempted to return, just my opinion obviously, but I think he along with Riddy could do a good job for us next season, given the chance .I realise this season isn't over yet, but realistically it's down to one game against Fev, I THINK,that's why I feel Derek should make his mind up as soon as poss, and we can start planning for next year.

Brierley is only good at one thing, chiming into the line, & timing *2 things* & pace *3 things* ......
Brierley is only good at 3 things .....
*but he is also a lightweight & a defensive turnstile just like Greg Mc*

I've watched a lot of him this season on Premier Sports, he can kick goals, and can pass a ball as well, and as he has been playing at 7 all season, his tackling hasn't been needed much.Would you have him back ?

I would Ian! He looked a very accomplished halfback, when Toronto played at Leigh. (as have a lot of halfbacks this season!) Let's face it, his 'limited' qualities listed earlier in this conversation, amount to more than those displayed by some who have graced our team in 2018!
I also strongly suspect that we only heard one side of the story when he left us!
We can't afford him....or anybody else for that matter. Nice one Derek.
Greetings Budge, my suggestion was aimed at next season ,if he was available, who knows what we will be able to afford then , or for that matter Ryan's wage demands,I'm ready to wait and see what occurs next year.

I think a few Leigh fans would have him back , it's all a matter of what occurs with Toronto, and their recruiting next season. As far as Ryan's side of the story, I agree there.
