Fev are my dark horses, this afternoon, the Caroli Clown Jewels are riding with Harry Angel in the 4.20 at Royal Ascot, could be the fastest horse in training, also maybe a shilling on Dreamfield in the 5.00 at Royal Ascot, trained by the great John Gosden..If the win ,meat could be back on the Menu in the Caroli house tonight. :thumb: Charlie knows, are you listening Cokey?

Just pulled up the site with 5 mins to the first kick-off and was pleased that the that the name "Vancouver Leyther" was being displayed as last poster. Getting you adopted Canadians out of bed is incredibly difficult. What time (BST) do you kip until?

Okay, Bongser will keep this brief. The top six teams in The Championship played the bottom six this weekend and collectively spanked their oppo’s Aristotles. As it turned out this was an absolutely pointless pointfest. 406 scored in only 6 matches (a rather convenient meaningless mean of exactly 68 points a game). Effect on Championship standings: Jack!!

Godda’dmit that Bongser didn’t think too profoundly about this week’s games when setting the bonus. He ended up rooting for WLJ as the only non-taker of the Jokermon. That would mean Leigh winning but an upset elsewhere that would favour Leythe. Not to be, alack & alas.

ALL the Nine Walkers called a Pokemon, eight converted it into a Jokermon. WLJ played his Joker on the Leigh result, called the correct winner and got an extra four points for his trouble. He scored a total (with Attendance Point) of 37. A curiously symmetrical coincidence saw the eight others in attendance (with no correct margins or exact scorelines) score 73 points.

Bongser will risk using the same oxymoron again – a pointless pointfest. The eight also get a WWB of 25 apiece and (with it totting up to 98 points each) not surprisingly also moved up into a new century on the scoreboard. England's 50 over boys were racking the score up earlier this week, as was Southgate’s “youth team” (think the oldest player is Young) today. One of those weeks!

Standings:

Atomic – 569
Charlie – 549
Wanderer – 503
Pubbers – 483
Zools – 457
Cokey – 434
Bongser - 430
WLJ – 371
Van L – 343
........and then the usual also (once) rans.

Bongser will not be setting the same BBQ next weekend. There is always the following one though. :thumb:

O/T. Charlie, a quirk & perk of work sees Bongser going to Blackpool Tower tomorrow. If you are there, please wear a water-squirting flower as a buttonhole (great word in German: "Knopfloch") that we might recognise one another. :thumb:

The hair (approaching singular) is merely good to firm, Charles. Trip to The Tower turned out to be a fools' (yes there were two of us) errand but the fish & chips and totty spottin' made up for that.

Puntables out in the blink of an eye, a mere longish hair's breadth away! :thumb:

Though I won't be in Toronto at the week end, I'm really looking forward to the game should be a cracker, personally I've had a great week this past 7 days, attending the Dews game was great,as my daughter Danni accompanied me, great to have her back, and a good Leyth win.The weather is also great, but being of fair skin, and a Ginger, it is a struggle.

I will be in the promised land (Blackpool)this week along with Barney Clubber Lang, and other Carolis, but have Premier Sports for the game, folk say I'm a pessimist,I think a Toronto win is on the cards, hope I'm wrong,I will look to see what Cokey thinks, anyway Bongser ,keep up the sterling work, you could make a good Clown , one day, Charlie knows.
