Have to say I’m not a big fan of such variation in game days, all over the place that lot isn’t it

The regular season (ignoring play offs) will begin with an away tie in the CCup third round (w/e 8th Feb) before concluding 225 days later. Unless Leigh have a decent cup run and are repeatedly drawn at home, LSV is going to be pretty starved of matches for the first 145 days (64.444% of the season) seeing only 5 league home fixtures – in fact, skipping February, we get THREE home games in over FOUR months thereafter!

That would kill Salford in their present parlous financial state!

On the flip side, we then get seven homes in the last 80 days. Fully aware that the pitch is re-laid mid season but surely this fixture list could be more balanced?

Anyone for another late charge for the six?

If we can be fitter front half of the season than last, we may even see a late run for the top three with a second half of home game bias.

Another reason that the monthly memberships is a good idea. Not only makes committing to a season ticket more affordable for more people, but ensures a regular cash flow, even if we don't have home games for a while. But it is odd that we have two blocks of away games, either side of the Hull game on 22nd May.
