Warrington v Leigh 17.3.2023 : Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:01 pm
There has been much grumbling over ticket prices at the LSV this season and though I have been relegated to the East Stand I am able to sit on the half way line for the princely sum of £27.

At the HJ stadium with it's large standing areas priced at £24 for an adult, the seats on the touchline are a whopping £34.

At home to Saints just over 7700 attendance when we should be getting a full house playing the World champions and not on TV. With roaring inflation, Friday night KO and these ridiculous prices is it any wonder. 6000 to 7000 average this season at the best.

I thought after last weeks win we would have close game with Wire, however we seem to let in early points. We can’t keep doing that. Next weeks game against Hull, I thought we could win comfortably, however after the results I am not so sure. Tony Smith got a good response from his players. We need the same next week.

To be fair we knew exactly what we were doing with that opening try. Same as the friendly, you put 4/5 into tackling Paul vaughan on the first hit up, this time we just got dufty to run around the space that left outside

The same 6/7 average when Leigh won the League in 82 you mean?
Regardless of prices we wouldn’t be getting many more. People will always find an excuse not to go wether it be prices ,Leigh lads Leigh shirts or they don’t like Beaumont . Like they never liked Bell Hart or Stringer to name a few.
Do i think the price is high.. yes would it being a few quid cheaper make people attend en masse .. no

No one discussing the game? Still a bit shell-shocked, Warrington coasted to an easy win, and Leigh looked like they had 2 men missing on the flanks. In attack we looked predictable with no changes in direction and not challenging aerial balls.

We live to fight again, hopefully a bit wiser.
