Do you not think wire fans have things to moan about? Saints fans are always moaning. It's because they won't accept mediocrity or even being second best. That's the culture of their fans and we need to change the culture of our fan base just as much as we need to change it in the playing group.

I'd hope Mr Moran acknowledges that his businesses are only viable as long as customers are happy. There are other ticket agencies than SJM, there are other sports clubs than us crying out for fans, sponsorship and patrons. Not every fan or organisation will continue to hand over money ad nauseum out of loyalty.

I'd like us to be higher than 5th next season, I think we will get higher than 5th. But at the same time, we should hold some realism and respect to the other competing sides.

To just demand that we are entitled to be higher than 5th is just pathetic, given the state of the other sides. I'm still waiting for just 1 reason why we should be higher than Stains, Wigan, catalans, Leeds next season, given that we've completly changed our squad and set up.

He may start to realise that our lot are just ultimately unsatisfiable, and pull out. If I was him, and had read all the moaning on here, I'd be getting straight out. There's no fun and appreciation wasting money on a load of spoilt brats.

And there's no fun reading the same message on multiple threads and that applies to both sides of the argument I was going to use the word debate but that implies a higher level of thought than we are currently showing as a FORUM.

It clearly bothers you that people have opinions differing from yours, so I ask why come on here and what gives you the right to call someone’s opinion a moan. I get people don’t agree with everything ever said on here but it feels like you are attacking peoples rights to their opinions

He’s still listed as a director at Companies House - you can of course be a director but not a shareholder though.

I assume Middleton has become a shareholder based on the amount he’s invested over the past few years, but be very surprised if SJM walked away. Middleton is Chairman, maybe that is where the rumour came from?

Also reported a loss of £1.1m in 2021 and some significant borrowings (£1.5m taking borrowings to £2.7m in total if I’m reading it right), which is hardly surprising - don’t think I’ve seen that reported anywhere? Guardian normally mention it…

I totally back mods decisions to lock thread after thread. People have a right to be optimistic the same as the right to be pessimistic. UR is right it's getting boring, name-calling can't be making anyone feel better right?
