Didn’t he get one and then appealed and the RFL did us a favour and made it two? Powell made a ‘frivolous’ appeal - which shows
how much he rates him which in turn really calls Powell’s abilities into question.

He did get 2 after an appeal. Unfortunately, he has been so anonymous in every game since, he doesn't even do anything to get himself banned.

I think we need to have somebody on loan to balance the cap with recent signings but Dean was needed more to cover halfback injuries. Maybe this loan was the only option on the table?

He surely has to play Dean this week the only halfback pairings that appear to have been alright this season have been the ones with Dean a part of them. Aside from maybe 1 game with Widdop and Williams in the early run. If Williams is fit and Williams is on the last tackle tactical kicking again I'm in the powell out camp, it doesn't work and any coach worth his salt would see that.

Nothing suprises me any more, and the half back shirts seem to be some sort of lucky dip at the moment, but I will be astonished if Riley is in the 17.

You're more likely to see Powell himself come out of retirement or some sort of Barnstoneworth Utd reunion of Adam Doyle and Rocket Rodwell than Dean getting a chance.

Interesting to read the comments on this thread.

Pardon the ironic pun with Longstaff being loaned to Hull..... but what if thing's aren't as black & white as they seem. What if the decision wasn't just Powell's ?
