Not sure about losing his touch. He’s our second top try scorer and hasn’t played in months. He can still finish them, if he’s on the field.

Re: being used as a prop, that is modern RL. That’s what all of the good wingers these days do. Look at NSW picking Tupou over Addo-Carr, because Tupou will run 200+ meters more often than not.

The failure of the previous regime was not playing expansive rugby to see wingers get the ball, especially on the right. The failures of the current… spoiling for a row, maybe?

The Million £ game scenario with whoever finishes top gets home advantage throughout the play-offs and home advantage if they get through to the GF.

If you look at the games v Cas last season it was clear Charley was targeted by Powell as a defensive weakness. From this it can be assumed that he did not fancy him as a player. Charley scoring all those tries at the start of the season muddied the water but as soon as he got an opportunity he left him out. Clearly an issue between them and now he has the boards backing Powell gets rid.

No, its between the 2 finalists in the Championship play-offs.

The bottom SL club is automatically relegated.

Yeah, I thought the writing was on the wall for Charnley (come end of contract), as soon as it was announced that Powell was taking over. Good finisher, but does get caught needlessly in-field defensively, and not great at reading and fielding grubber kicks behind him.
