On the plus side:
Mikaele made the yards we need at prop (hope he can improve on this benchmark)
Wrench & Thewlis played very well
We won and didn't concede 30-40+ points

Negative side:
We need to find many more sparks of creativity
Ratchford, where do you play him (an old chestnut, but I still don't think he's worth a starting slot any more), as he looked lost at centre last night?
Matu'atia, why was he at half back? Yes, we have now won two games with him playing there, but we have Thewlis who's a full back, Widdop who's a half back and Ratchford in the starting 13. He's not the creative attacking half back that we need, even if he had a solid game in that position.

Kind of agree but at same time it just slows the game down further. But how that was not a penalty for tackle off the ball against Williams I’m confused.

I wonder if there is too much of an ego/personality clash with our 2 superstars at half back & they are both trying to dictate play.

Auntie Rico.

She's a rare visitor and this was her first game this season (what a belter) her last match was Williams' debut away at Leeds and that drop she certainly likes her nerves jangling

Can you manage to dissuade her from going to anymore games until we make it (even if it is many, many years in the future) to our next GF, and make sure you take her. That would be very much appreciated.

The only plus i took from that boring display from both teams is at least the Warrington fans occasionally got behind their team. I know the game was nothing to get excited about but the silence from the Hull FC fans was deafening.
