Olpherts would be cheap, but not an inspired signing.

I don't agree with that at all, in regards to it obviously means they've fallen out. Charnley will be on a good wage, and alot of tries he scores could be scored by most other wingers about who would be on a much lower wage. Fair enough he does score some brilliant tries but the vast majority he scores Minikin could score himself for much less money. For me it just makes more sense as a business to pay less money for pretty much the same results, and that saved money can be allocated elsewhere. Not saying there might not be a falling out as it's a possibility, but i think it's purely business.

I personally was never dreaming about Tom Johnstone. Good player, but seriously injury prone with multiple ailments sadly.

If I was a Wakefield fan, I'd be glad to get him off their wage bill. Great player, but simply wasn't fit often enough to give them value for money. Plus, they have a belting young winger already playing first team rugby.

Agreed, they have Lineham, Kershaw and Murphy.

Johnstone would have been on big money, so makes sense.

I think that he's missing again this weekend through injury.

I'd certainly prefer Ashton.

Yeah i wouldn't want Johnstone either to be honest.
