Left the club to take up a similar role at Hull FC. Can’t say I’m all that close to the going’s on, given the recent upturn in younger players coming through, is it fair to say he’ll be a big miss?

It does seem a little strange this one ..... conspiracy theory coming up .... If my time line is correct, Ridings would have been at Cas when Powell was there and left to join us. Powell moves to Warrington and within weeks Ridings moves on. Hmmmm.

I did think the same to be honest - but maybe just jumping to conclusions

He did 4 years alongside him.

One would have thought if he left under a cloud and didn't wish to work with him again, he'd have sorted out a new job over the past year since we announced powell

Hopefully we have an adequate replacement lined up, just like we did for Anderson. Who’s the current head of youth for the NRL? And is the commute worse than the M62 every morning?
