Good luck to him, I liked having him at Warrington.
Still think its strange he hasn't been given another shot as a head coach. I wonder if he will go down as another Jon Pendlebury - an upcoming coach who had been successful then had one bad half-season and was sacked and forgotten about. He improved Huddersfield from where they had been under TS, Jon Sharp and Nathan Brown, and they have never been as good since.
It might be that he doesn't want to do that. Anderson never struck me as the head coach type really. His role at Warrington has always been a weird one for me. Head of youth development, but he never went to watch any of the youth games in the town, which always struck me as being odd as he could watch what his younger players are like in actual games. He seems to have a good reputation for his work with the academy players, but it sounds to me like his new role will suit him. Developing the elite level players for the England setup seems an ideal job for him. It might also benefit Warrington if they can get someone a bit more hands on in the role.
