I know, I know. It was just a pre season friendly, but he looked a completely different player to last season, if he offers the same level of threat during the season and Austin performs to a reasonable level we will be asking a lot more questions of the opposition this season.
I feel my pre season optimism hitting danger level!
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Let’s see how he goes but fair play to him. His family on the other side of the world, he didn’t get a move he could have sulked but he’s come back trained hard and played well.

I think he is our latest version of Kurt Gidley or Kevin Brown.

Probably signed for us past his best, prone to injuries and will be frustrated that he hasn't been able to deliver what he has done for other teams in the past, but will act like a professional, train hard, do his best and be respected by his team mates even if fans get on his back.

Sunday should be interesting as both teams will want to chalk up a win. We'll get some idea of how were looking individually, and collectively, once the final hooter sounds.

I only saw the highlights. Did Blake get a knock?
Not much was said about him, and I'm not clear how effective he was.
I still am not sure about how well 6/7 work together. I guess time will tell

Took a bang to the knee in the first half, so didn't get chance for much of a showing. Much of our attack was still going left, I'm assuming we will see more balance when Inglis is fit to play, assuming he plays on the right.

On Widdop I thought there were games last year when he looked very good, but he drifted in and out of some games also at times. Hopefully he can be more consistent, as others have said be tough for him with his family back in Aus. Maybe in July if / when things have opened up more they might it give another shot living over here.

I heard that widdop has split up with his wife. That is what happened when they went back to australia mid season last year. And he went back to Australia in the off season to try and sort it out.
How reliable it is. I'm not sure. It is just what I heard and to be fair. Makes sense if that is hoe it went down.

I didn't watch the game and not had chance to watch all of the highlights. I noticed Toby king played left centre but does anybody know who played right centre?

Connor Wrench started, then Mamo came on in the second half.

Wrench did ok, nothing spectacular but certainly held his own. I suspect Price will give Mamo first shot at covering for Inglis, he seemed to be first choice backup last year.

Hopefully his head is in the right place.

It clearly wasn't last season, I don't think anyone's would be.

Hopefully with a clearer mind we'll see the best of him.
