That's debatable, but he's a good strike weapon to have. More importantly, you have to have a team that comes good at the right time to win SL. I can't see Wigan bombing the GF against Saints, or Catalan. Saints won't have the right mindset to dislodge Wigan, after they fell apart against them in the second half of their recent encounter.

It’s the Mint Balls. Both Makinson and Lineham were trying to find a secret stash!
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Lineham was definitely looking in the wrong place against Castleford.

Wigan looked nothing special for most of the season but the last month or so they've been fantastic. They deserve to make the final on recent showings and form. They have a really good backline, solid forwards, good structures and combination and then this is the bit that really sets them apart from us..... An actual kicking game. Not just a high bomb, they actually look to kick it in to areas that will be difficult to defend.

There seems to be an ethos in Wigan ,Saints & Leeds that gives them as clubs the ability to change playing staff & coaches but the ability to win & the end result (silverware) stays generally the same. Is the answer in their scouting set ups which can get the players with the right attitude & the coaches with the ability & mindset to improve the product on the pitch ? We can only look on in envy at the consistency those 3 clubs produce year in year out.

In other news Saints join them and well deserved to as Catalans were shocking and horrible in equal amounts.

Our Lee seemed to be quite happy about it all 1 v 2 local Derby does it get any better than this FFS

On current form it is not debatable.

Almost an admission of being part of the problem (perhaps some realisation that change should be inevitable now).

As disappointing as it is to see our closest rivals contesting the final they both absolutely deserve to be there this season, they've been the best teams. I feel far less sick than I normally would if Wigan and saints were contesting the final, normally it would be a match up that I wanted nobody to win but I'm actually looking forward to a good match.

Price out.
