Can't let a player like hiku go anywhere else Didn't he state he'd love to return one day? The only negative is if he hits form then the nrl will want him back Do we want to go through all that again?
Not sure its a position we need and could we afford him?
Class centre. Think there will be only a limited number of clubs who could afford him in today's financial environment, but wherever he went he would strengthen that team significantly.
If Inglis is just here for a year, how about getting an agent to find Toby King some NRL experience in 2021, then bring him home a more complete player when Inglis leaves?

Sometimes, it works in reverse, Dita's
Remember when Sibbit scored tries for fun (most of them were easy ones, after Langer put them on a plate for him). The NRL came knocking, he went, he found out he was out of his depth, and returned shell shocked, and his career went on a huge downward spiral

True.
However, you can also point at Cooper and see the positives.
Also, look at Wigan, getting Bateman back. He'll be twice the player he was after his short stint at Canberra and, injuries permitted, he will tear it up next season.
Personally, any young British player worth his salt should look for a stint in the NRL if they want to improve their game and extend their time and, with it, market value in the British game.
Where would Tyrone McCarthy's SL career really have headed if he had stayed at Wire?
But, in all seriousness I don’t think we could fit him under the cap. Inglis isn’t supposed to be on marquee money, but he must be on a serious wedge. BMM will leave along with Gelling probably. I assume Hiku would want almost marquee money. Can’t see how we could afford it.
If you had the choice of Hiku for 4 years or Inglis for one, which would you go for?

Practically, it's Hiku for 4 years. For marketing purposes, it's Inglis for a year.
