Why haven't alot of playera been considered at all, why only 2 Wingers and 1 centre and 6 half backs. Because Bennett couldn't give a poop about GB Lions at all, this is a weird build up for England combinations. Bennett should go for me and an English coach should take over.
Got to say - seen virtually nothing from Widdop except for his goal kicking that justifies the word 'marquee'. Then again virtually no-one comes out of the Lions tour to date with much credit.
So that's 3 tries, yes, 3 tries in 240 minutes of RL. All 3 scored within 10m of the opposition's line, in the last quarter of each game, and barely ANY attempts from outside the 10. Dull, risk free, rubbish.
Is this fella trying to bore the opposition (and the watching public) into submission? British RL REALLY is going down the pan, in terms of entertainment
But I have to say I hate Maguire's methods. Same when at Wigan.
Slow the play down, hands remaining the ruck, slow to get off taķing advantage of the refs not taking action. I really hate it and it turns me off the sport.
But as said above, there's virtually no creativity from GB.
