Playing well in 5 games (being generous) out of 100 does not prove anyone wrong - even if one of those games was a cup final. A cup final, in which he also invited an unlikely Saints comeback by smashing the ball full into touch when he had a WHOLE Wembley pitch in front of him to aim for.

Good luck to him, hope he does well but Duck just accept he simply isn't good enough as a starting half in the upper echelons of SL. 95% of his performances prove that to be correct. I should imagine there is only you and other members of his family that will be sorry to see him leave from a rugby perspective. Saying that - Matty Smith has made him look MUCH better.

You mean when Patton was rushed down under pressure on the last to try and clear from out from well inside our 30 after all the forwards had been unable to do so, failing to give him some depth to clear away from the charging defence ...but that's all Patton's fault.

You want a word with everyone that has a different view to you, and wish to make what you believe in to be a one person person crusade. People have different opinions, that's the way it is, just let it be as it doesn't change anything that's happened, or will happen.

And I read the same rubbish on social media about Patton...yet our coach, owners and players have a very different view from it.

No I didn't. I used it as a paraphrase how people can follow how ever extreme and wrong the view...and the millions that followed were innocent German folk.

No one is being horrible about him. Everyone appears to be wishing him well and disappointed that he's not turned out to be good enough. Coach and owner clearly agree he isn't up to it, he played well at Wembley but wasn't in the Wire dominated lance todd voting...so unsure how he won us the challenge cup?
