Atkins gone to wakefield with immediate effect. Shame he wasn't given a proper send off. Players like him deserve it. Great player.

I'm going to miss him celebrating tries he was yards away from scoring. Suppose he can still do that for Wakefield, but it won't feel the same :(

Not sure if great is the right word. Solid probably more appropriate, even for Warrington, you've had far better centres over the years. Good, loyal clubman I suppose.

Is this any benefit to your cap if he's going now? Allowing another signing today? Or just doing Wakefield a favour in their relegation fight?

He's been a very good signing over the years, he's had some bad spells and some massive brain farts (such as Ryan Air) but overall a very good player IMO.

Good luck to him at wakey, shame we didn't get to give him a proper send off after all this time.

He deserves a proper send off and a thank you from the fans. He’s been a great servant to the club for a long time.

If he’s left the club, he’s off the cap. I can’t see us letting him go unless we have a player to come in.

Over the years he has been great for us, not for his whole ten years perhaps, but he’s played for England, won 3 challenge cups, 2 LLS and is he our top SL try scorer?

Thanks Rhino, been a loyal player who integrated well in to the community. Hopefully he has a couple more years at Wakey.

Hopefully the club can bring him back for a proper send off at the end of the year.

As it's "Transfer deadline day". With Atkins going, does that me there is someone coming in?

Sure saddened also remembers Ryan tearing through the saints defence to send Trent through in the first of the play off semi wins against his mob. There were also some nice Wembley tries from him and he was excellent in our bottom
4 nightmare season. Been a very good player and always put 100% in.

Totally agree. He's been a good 'un. Always a threat.
