New deal just announced

https://warringtonwolves.com/charnley-a ... ntil-2022/

Just need a top centre so we can make the most of him now......if he scores what he does off scraps, and what he makes for himself, imagine what he could do with a top centre inside of him?

He's been a great signing. Will hopefully get more support next season.

Been much less prolific this year than last. Hopefully a good centre supply as others have said, and this new deal, will galvanise him.

Last year I suppose we utilised him more as an attacking weapon as we had nothing infield of him. I think he scored most of his tries off Roberts-Ratchford combinations with the cutout pass.

This year Austin has scored 18 where Roberts scored one. Probably the reason why there hasn’t been a need to shift the ball too far!

Good news, hope he goes on a good scoring run at the business end of the season.

Great news, not the best season for him scoring wise, then again it won't be with our usual Conservative and narrow game plan. That will hopefully do the business for us though.

He's been excellent for us so far. Good business by the club extending his contract.

Yet only 3 tries in his past 11 games.

We need to be using him more. I think the temptation is to focus plays through Clark and Austin, but its leaving us pretty one dimensional. I'm hoping this is strategic and we'll develop a more open style towards the back end of the year, we wont win finals if we don't have threats all over the field.
