I don't think he's lost it at all. I've said for a few years now he's going off the boil and I personally think his heart is no longer in Leeds. A change of scenery at another club like Saints, Wigan or Wire would see him back to where he was IMO.

And as we are just about to say goodbye to Goodwin & Atkins and Burrell is off the cap for 2020, Watkins would be a good acquisition for me. Burrell will not be the Centre we are looking for this year or next I don't think, It'll take time for him to adapt.

A backline of:

Ratch

Lineham
Watkins
King
Charnley

Austin
Widdop

That looks very tasty.
Its ALWAYS our year

I am not one who is going to declare him finished based on what I see on Sky, but he definitely hasn't looked like he has fully recovered based on what I have seen this season.

There is potentially a very good signing there for someone, but whoever it isn't shouldn't skimp on the medical.

Depends what you're looking for.

Burgess, Ellis and Thaiday for strenth and being a nother prop.

If you want the whole package then Lockers is the best right now.

I do think he will tie up with McDermott at Toronto but I would welcome him here with open arms.
He is far from finished. Leeds have been playing with only one recognised half back all year and their back row has been non exist ant (Delaney ret, Ablett, JJB and Ward have all missed the majority of games)
I am sure I heard a stat that in a recent game he had made over 40 tackles and that gives an indication of where Leeds are at.
It looks like the captaincy is a big burden as well.
But he is still a class act

As a Leeds fan, I am sorry to see him go. But sometimes a change of scenery can be just what you need to get you back playing well. Things are stale at Leeds, if not rotten. It'd be a huge burden for anyone to Captain the club right now.

Wouldn't be worth the gamble for me, can imagine he would demand a hefty wage

Wouldn’t be so sure of that,he has been granted release without already signing for a new club, bargaining power lays with the clubs interested.
