Would like to have tried Livett over Patton but don’t think that will happen, possible bench spot if he gets dragged off again.

The only question for me is whether he includes Livett on the bench. Mamo and Lineham's first game back after injury, Austin didn't look 100% and Patton went off during the last game. Maybe not the week to play 4 out and out forwards on the bench?

Interesting that Tasi and Westwood not in the squad and both unlikely to be here next season. If Gelling has passed his medical, I could see him arriving in July same as Burrell and Atkins leaving. Gelling, I think, is contracted with Widnes next year but a fee shouldn’t be a problem. When Widdop arrives next year that will be a pretty big shake up in the backs. I like Toby King but he lacks a yard of pace for the modern game but can see him developing in the second row - he is big enough, can pass and is good in the air. We need more competition in the second row anyway.

If Westwood has been dropped (I'm not aware of an injury) then that would be twice in quick succession, and it would be hard to see him getting many more games, unless we get a bad run of injuries.

Akauola seems to have overtaken Tasi in the pecking order (he certainly offers a lot more going forward). Westwood has looked well off the pace but I guess his role is to provide cover this season (and to keep the disciplinary committee busy).

THAT Akauola hit up! It was like he stopped as though he was going to "clobber" (rhymes with "hat") him for good measure and then realised where he was!
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.
