Just reading new rules for next season.

Shot clock
35 seconds for a scrum
30 seconds for a drop out
100 seconds for a conversion

Any player feigning injury when clock as started as to leave the field and not allowed back on till his team as possession or can come straight back on at cost of an interchange which is now reduced to 8

The free play as been dropped

Do the rules say "feigning injury" as surely that should be penalised.

Although it has always gone on to a certain extent with players taking the time to play the ball after being tackled to run down the clock.

All good changes IMO. For once every minute does matter, to avoid golden point. Hopefully the shot clocks keep things moving, scrums have been painfully slow in recent years.

In the likely event a game is won within the 80 minutes, hopefully that means there’s more time devoted to post match analysis using the time set aside in the event of GP?

Also, if we want to compete with the Aussies, it’s good to play to the same rules/intensity they do week in/week out.

Just need the PtB mess sorting, and it’s all good.
