Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

The ptb is currently my biggest bugbear, defenders with hands in, not square, peeling off slower than Slowy McSlow on a slow day. The tackled player “clamping” the defender, but worst of all moving forward off the mark, lurching forward and claiming a penalty. Dummy half pushing tackler off and the whole “waving hands” thing. It makes me soooo angry.....

To speed the game up they should change scrums to a handover for a start ,reduce the players to 11 on field with a 17 man squad & keep the same number of ,or even more ,substitutions & up the tackle count to at least 10 to encourage more running & less kicking.

Perhaps you should consider watching association football.

As for football ,it sucks. As for scrums ,they are irrelevant so why have 12 men wasting game time forming an ornamental arch over the ball ?

To try and create space, doesnt always work, as our only scrum move from the Lee Penny era demonstrated.

I'm not a fan of the golden point being brought in - i think a draw is a decent enough way to end it.
However i am a fan of the shot clock being introduced. Think it will beneficial.

On another note, i would've liked to see Ref's being stricter on the amount of really poor PTB's that we have in Super League.
The quality of them is far higher in the NRL, so i don't see why we can't do the same.
It's one of the first things that you're taught when you venture into RL, foot on the ball and roll back - not stepping over it.

Scrum do suck....however they give you your wish of fewer men with the ability to play for a tackle at least.
You can't have your cake and eat it.

Agreed, says it all that there are technicians of slowing the ptb, milking penalties and trying to force errors. It really needs cleaning up.

I'm not a fan of the golden point, why should you get the same points for failing to beat a team in 80 minutes as you do for beating a team in the allotted time?

All of the above plus the new art of feigning injury to give the team a breather.

Reduce the players on the pitch & get possibly 80 minutes of more open play ,but keep the substitutions to introduce fresher players.
