Speculation on the forum is one thing, Ian Millward in the record is another. Personally, the only reason I can see for putting Gleeson at stand-off is to involve him more in the game. He is not a half-back.

maybe because the squad hasnt been announced yet ? they have until 48 hours before kick off to announce it.

Since it came in that it has to be named 48 hours before kick off, it's been announced....roughly around 48 hours before kick off.

It used to be 18 man squad 24 hours prior and 20 man squad 72 hours prior

Now it's just 19 man squad 48 hours prior
