Got to agree too. With Westwood banned but not sent off, a referee was always going to be looking at "high" tackles

BTW, it shouldn't have been a sending off. I spotted Amor's arm making initial contact with Wigan player's arm, and on the head on replay. For a nanosecond, I felt sympathy for Stains. Then I remembered their gobby fans lording it over all and sundry, when they were in their pomp. Didn't last long

I've met and spoke with Brian Carney 1 to 1 at great length a few times. I can assure you he is very grounded and has opinions that don't reflect his question raising, dry and clean cut image on tele.

Carney was spot on! I thought the same listening to it on the radio at work when I heard he should have stayed on. And that was without hearing Brian's view.
