On a beach in spain i was lying there with the black one on stopping myself from being burnt to a crisp when the people next to me sat down they were wearing the home one. Felt like home for bit!

I saw a Wire shirt pinned up on the ceiling of a bar in Cyprus last year.

The shirt wasn't occupied either, which was a relief.

Three Lions' Bar, in Mula, Spain. Hung up on t'wall it was, till my uncle had a row with the landlord - as it was my uncle's shirt, to get back at him, he threw it in the bin!

I wore my 2003 at Caracus Airport and in a, for lack of better terms, living quarters in the amazon jungle, funnily enough on holiday with said uncle. On that trip was a couple from Castleford, so there we were, pirana fishing in the Orrinoco river, chatting about Rugby League, and how Lee Briers and Danny Orr need to find some level of consistency.



I was wearing said jersey whilst taking that photo, the big fella in the shorts is the chap from Castleford.

I know, it's a terrible picture, but words don't do the 'place' justice. Someone on the trip called them 'slave quarters'. That said, it was more inhabitable than the huts we'd passed en route, where the locals lived.
