Crikey, can someone explain how many points earns you a ban? What a stupid system.
6 to 11 pts gets a one match ban. The system has been up-dated since this article was published, and all players start this season on zero points thanks to Sam Burgess`s criticism of points being loaded onto players` for last season`s indiscretions :- https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/th ... y-overhaul

Adam Keighran was lucky to not get sent off. Was a right smash to the head of a prone player and I didn't see what the mitigation was (other than he was playing for Wigan at home).

The mitigation was that he'd done it a few tackles previously and gotten away with it!
If a player gets sin binned does that add to his points tally ? Does a red card also add points to players tally or is the sending off sufficient ?
I can`t see any reference to a sin binning, but I`ve only speed read it so I may have missed it?
A red card incurs 2 less points to the penalty points for the misdemeanor if the player was sent-off in the first half and 1 point less if dismissed in the 2nd half.
